Catalog #: 3510-02 Integrin αL (CD11;LFA-1 α subunit) Antibody
Integrins are heterodimeric cell surface receptors composed of α and β subunits, which mediate cell-cell and cell-extracellular matrix attachments. Aberrant integrin expression has been found in many epithelial tumors. Changes in integrin expression have been shown to be important for the growth and early metastatic capacity of melanoma cells. Integrin αL is expressed on human leucocytes, with increased expression on memory T cells. 38 blocks CD11α functions (e.g. LFA-1/ICAM interactions).
